We had the last students' Meeting yesterday! - Naziye Kaşka/Alanya - Turkey

  We had the last students meeting on Zoom yesterday. We talked about the activities we are doing in January. We watched the videos of our art/crafts and played a live game about our handcrafts on Quizizz. We had fun and learned a lot about our traditional art/crafts! Here is the game we played live on Quizizz: Traditional Art/Crafts Quiz In the second session of the meeting, we evaluated the activities we have done during the project and students' remarks have shown that they were really happy to be in this project! Then we said farewell and promised to keep in touch with each other after the project,too.

SAUSAL Project Team performed the folk dance of Lithuania! - Naziye Kaşka - Alanya/Turkey

  The Salad Bowl Project Teams tried to perform the folk dances of partnering countries. SAUSAL Folk Dance Performance SAUSAL Project Team chose to perform Lithuanian folk dance 'Gransveras'. Although it seemed challenging at first, the students managed to dance very well in the end! They liked the music and the choreography a lot! We had much fun during the rehearsals! Here is the result!

  The Salad Bowl Project Teams met online to celebrate the Human Rights Day yesterday! We watched a video about global human rights, shared our opinions on some basic human rights and tried to find solutions to discrimination. Then we played a live Kahoot game on the folk dances of the partnering countries. It was an informative and fun evening! This is the game about our folk dances we played on Kahoot.   The Salad Bowl Project Teams tried singing the songs of the partnering countries! Turkish Song 'Katibim' by Jordanian, Lithuanian and Romanian Teams The old classical Turkish song ‘Katibim’ was sung by the students from Jordan, Lithuania and Romania. The Romanian and the Jordanian team sang the song in their own languages,too! This experience was both challenging and fun! Many thanks to the students and their teachers! Here is the result, enjoy it!

Yesterday we had the Students' Meeting of November. We discussed the activities of the month and wrote the acrostic poem of the project collaboratively on Zumpad. Acrostic Poem Timeslider The students were very creative! Then we played a game about our traditional music, live on Quizizz.We had much fun and learnt a lot! Here is the game we played on Quizizz with our students. It is about the traditional music of the partnering countries; Turkey, Romania, Lithuania and Jordan. Check our questions and have fun while learning! Traditional Music Quiz We had the musician Ahmad Hani as our guest,too! We talked about music and he played some of his compositions for us! We had an evening full of musical activities!
