THE SALAD BOWL - eTwinning Project

On 16/10/2021 we celebrated the World Food Day with the participation of all project teams of The Salad Bowl. Students shared their new school year experiences, we talked about activities we are going to do within the next weeks. We watched the World Food Day video and played an online game on Kahoot. The game was about the traditional dishes of the partnering countries. It was very informative and enjoyable. Traditional Cuisines Quiz

World Food Day is celebrated every year worldwide on 16th October to arouse awareness towards hunger and food security. As The Salad Bowl eTwinning project team, we celebrated this day with the theme: "Our Actions are our Future: Better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life." To celebrate the day, the project teams worked collaboratively and created a video, posters of their traditional dishes, an online game and a survey on eating habits. We created a video to call for worldwide awareness and collective action to combat the issue of hunger and ensure healthy diets for all.
