All the teams of The Salad Bowl Project got together on Twinspace to chat and evaluate the activities. Evaluation Meeting of Partners 2021 - Naziye KaÅŸka/Turkey

We had the last partners' meeting of this year and evaluated the collaborative activities done so far. We also discussed the activities to be done next school year and we're all excited to start fresh! I congratulate all the partners' for their hard work, devotion and contribution to the project!

Social Media: Friend or Foe? - Naziye KaÅŸka/TURKEY

We asked the teenagers from the partnering countries whether they find Social Media a friend or foe. Although many enjoy the advantages of social media they are also aware of the harm it can give them when it is over-used.  All the teams of The Salad Bowl Project worked collaboratively and interviewed eTwinners from the partnering countries about their relationships with Social Media. The teenagers recorded their views about social media and they were split into 2 teams according to their opinions. The mixed-country teams merged their videos with the  coordinator teacher using Movavi Video Editor. Then we shared the videos on our YouTube channel and other social media platforms. The International Day of Families is observed on 15 May every year and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families. The International Day provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families. The 2021 observance of the International Day of Families focuses on the impacts of new technologies on the well-being of families which became vital in the Covid-19 Pandemic. As The Salad Bowl Project Team, we attached great importance to use of technology throughout the Project. International Day of Families. We held a project meeting with all the Project Teams! The eTwinners introduced themselves and shared their expectations of the Project. We talked about the activities already done and the upcoming events. The students were informed on e-safety issues and Web 2.0 tools. They expressed their feelings in their own languages,too. It was a joyful evening thanks to all participants!

22nd April - World Earth Day Celebrations - Elizabete Catalao/Portugal

April 22 is World Earth Day, an international event celebrated around the world to pledge support for environmental protection. The day inspires us to act towards the protection of the environment and focus on the need for conservation. The Portuguese Team celebrated the World Earth Day by creating a Poster to arouse awareness. They also published a quiz to assess the general knowledge about the day.
