All the teams of The Salad Bowl Project got together on Twinspace to chat and evaluate the activities. Then we had a meeting on Zoom, played collaborative games and said goodbye to each other, until we meet again next year! Here is the video of the Jigsaw Puzzle Games we played: Jigsaw Puzzle Games

We had the last partners' meeting of this year and evaluated the collaborative activities done so far. We also discussed the activities to be done next school year and we're all excited to start fresh! I congratulate all the partners' for their hard work, devotion and contribution to the project!

We asked the teenagers from the partnering countries whether they find Social Media a friend or foe. Although many enjoy the advantages of social media they are also aware of the harm it can give them when it is over-used.  All the teams of The Salad Bowl Project worked collaboratively and interviewed eTwinners from the partnering countries about their relationships with Social Media. The teenagers recorded their views about social media and they were split into 2 teams according to their opinions. The mixed-country teams merged their videos with the  coordinator teacher using Movavi Video Editor. Then we shared the videos on our YouTube channel and other social media platforms.   The Portuguese Project Team created a poster/brochure and distributed it at school. In our school library, it was also played the presentation created to introduce the project to the school community.

The International Day of Families is observed on 15 May every year and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families. The International Day provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families. The 2021 observance of the International Day of Families focuses on the impacts of new technologies on the well-being of families which became vital in the Covid-19 Pandemic.   The Salad Bowl - eTwinning Project Team has conducted a survey to assess the impact of Pandemic on students/teachers from all over the world. We have created an E-book from the results of the survey. You can read it from the link below: The Impact of Pandemic on Us

The Salad Bowl Project teams asked the teenagers from different countries how they felt themselves during the Pandemic and they shared their emotions behind a mask. We chose the best Logo for our Project!  Congratulations to all the students and their teachers who worked collaboratively during this process!  And special thanks to Romanian team for creating the Project Logo!!! 

We held a project meeting with all the Project Teams! The eTwinners introduced themselves and shared their expectations of the Project. We talked about the activities already done and the upcoming events. The students were informed on e-safety issues and Web 2.0 tools. They expressed their feelings in their own languages,too. It was a joyful evening thanks to all participants!

 

 

 

April 22 is World Earth Day, an international event celebrated around the world to pledge support for environmental protection. The day inspires us to act towards the protection of the environment and focus on the need for conservation. The Portuguese Team celebrated the World Earth Day by creating a Poster to arouse awareness. They also published a quiz to assess the general knowledge about the day.
