PBS Team introduced Jordanian Folk Dance - Alaa Aljrarwa/Jordan

The Jordanian Dabkeh is a Jordanian folk dance and the national dance of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The dancers line up in either a row, an arc, or a circle. The dancers are either male or female. The dance is led by the first dancer, who generally determines the direction of the dance, and usually performs additional movements to demonstrate his skill. Dabkeh consists of foot movements. It is an important part of the Jordanian heritage and folklore, and is practiced at weddings and national events.

  The global theme of World Cities Day 2021 is “Adapting cities for climate resilience”, acknowledging that integrated climate actions will greatly reduce climate related risks for urban populations. The Project Teams of The Salad Bowl Project have discussed some of the problems most cities are facing these days and teenagers from Turkey, Romania, Lithuania and Jordan tried to find solutions to these problems.
